AREA 02, a sneaker trading platform, wanted to create a more personalized multichannel customer experience to strengthen loyalty, increase conversions, and improve member retention. To do this, it worked with Appier and used Appier’s AIQUA AI personalized marketing cloud to coordinate marketing across its website, push notifications, email, SMS, and app-based engagement.

Appier helped AREA 02 implement automated A/B testing, audience segmentation, behavioral triggers, and personalized product reminders to guide users through the purchase journey. The results included a 400% year-on-year increase in coupon redemptions, 170% growth in first-time customers, 28% annual GMV growth from January to March 2022, a 38% reduction in customer acquisition costs, and a 2.5x increase in repeat customers.
