BMW Taiwan, part of BMW, wanted to boost brand awareness and engage more effectively with its large Facebook audience during a competitive, digital-first market. Working with Bremen Digital Creative and Appier’s BotBonnie conversational marketing platform, BMW Taiwan aimed to overcome Facebook Messenger’s 24-hour messaging limit and reach more potential fans and future buyers.
Appier’s BotBonnie used Meta’s Recurring Notifications and comment auto-reply features to create a Lunar New Year campaign that kept users engaged and enabled ongoing promotional messaging. The result was 4x more engagements than the same holiday period in previous years, a 99% message read rate, and about 10% higher read performance than BMW Taiwan’s previous campaigns.
