A Appier Case Study
CommonWealth Magazine, named Taiwan's most influential magazine by The New York Times, needed a better way to find, grow and understand valuable readers across its print and digital businesses. The publisher’s goal was to create a unified customer view from disparate data sources to boost subscriptions, increase online sales and optimize promotions.
Using Appier’s AIXON platform, CommonWealth unified online and offline data (website, online store, CRM), applied AI models to predict and segment high‑value users and find lookalikes, and engaged audiences across owned and external channels. The campaigns discovered previously unreachable readers and delivered a 12.2× return per dollar spent, exceeded ROAS targets by 300%, and increased subscriptions and purchases by 404%.
