watashi+ by Shiseido Taiwan is the official OMO beauty shopping site for Shiseido Group brands. Faced with pandemic-driven drops in store traffic, the team needed to lift online conversion with a limited marketing budget while keeping online prices consistent with physical stores, so promotions had to be non-discount and targeted at hesitant buyers.
Appier’s AiDeal used machine learning to identify and differentiate hesitant new and returning visitors, delivering individualized, time-limited non-discount offers (including an exclusive face mask for orders over NT$888 and 30-minute coupons) to accelerate purchases. The campaign boosted conversion rates by 47%, add-to-cart rates by 28% and transaction completion by 15%, while speeding checkouts (orders within 15 minutes +13%, within 15–30 minutes +36%) and increasing orders that met the target value by 61%.
