Nespresso, a coffee machine and coffee products brand, partnered with Appier to improve online engagement and connect digital campaigns with in-store experiences. Using Appier’s BotBonnie on LINE, Nespresso addressed the challenge of driving user interaction, follower growth, and store visits through more seamless OMO/O2O journeys and campaign mechanics.
Appier implemented gamified MGM campaigns, personality games, and a store locator service that automatically showed the nearest Nespresso locations based on user-shared location. The results were strong: Nespresso achieved a 97% engagement rate, saw notable follower growth, and drove offline traffic, while 39% of LINE members used the locator service and one prize campaign reached a 50% redemption rate.
