Corporate Technologies Group (CTG), an Ohio-based managed IT and cloud advisor founded in 1999, shifted its services from telecom to cloud as it sought to modernize customer environments. CTG partnered with AppDirect for an Envision Session—an expert-led customer workshop—to assess needs, run a 30–45 day POC using Nerdio for Azure Virtual Desktop, and perform an independent Azure assessment and license requote. The technical workshop led to AVD, IaaS and Microsoft 365 opportunities that together unlocked $13,000 MRR (approximately $156,000 annually), accelerated sales cycles, and expanded CTG’s cloud practice.
