ACP, a leading IT and managed services provider in Germany and Austria with 50+ local offices and independently operated subsidiaries, faced fragmented pricing, support and reseller processes for Microsoft cloud offerings and lacked a channel platform that fit its operating structure. The company needed a unified marketplace that could standardize as-a-service offerings across subsidiaries, surface ACP-developed solutions for group-wide resale, and prepare for Microsoft’s New Commerce Experience (NCE).
ACP implemented the AppDirect subscription commerce platform to automate onboarding, billing and channel management, create a single unified catalog and simplify the customer buying experience. The migration completed in six months, enabled bundled solutions and NCE readiness, and drove rapid adoption: 1,500 marketplace customers, 500 catalog products and a doubling of monthly recurring revenue within one year—worth millions of euros annually—with over one-third of customers converted to NCE services.
