The European Investment Bank (EIB) partnered with talent firm AMS to overcome a major challenge: the urgent need to transition its entire high-volume recruitment process from onsite to remote due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal was to hire 300-400 people annually into niche, graduate, and traineeship roles for its 3,500-person Luxembourg team without letting the pandemic disrupt its hiring targets.
AMS implemented a high-touch remote service solution, deploying a dedicated team of recruiters and specialists to support the EIB. As a result of this partnership with AMS, the EIB successfully made 320 remote hires in 2020, saw a 42.5% improvement in the gender diversity of longlists for professional roles, and experienced no significant negative impact on its talent acquisition goals from the pandemic.
