Empowering gender diversity for India’s leading FMCG company

A major Indian fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company partnered with talent solutions provider AMS to transform its gender diversity goals into measurable hiring outcomes. The challenge was to move beyond aspiration and achieve 100% female representation in its Commercial Experience Shared Service Centre while also improving diversity across its broader sales operations. This required a highly targeted sourcing strategy to find qualified female candidates, particularly in talent-constrained Tier 2 and 3 cities across India, all while maintaining speed and scale.

AMS implemented a solution focused on building proactive, regional talent pipelines and conducting targeted selection drives. The strategy included preparation calls with candidates to improve participation, extensive screening, and just-in-time interview drives. As a result, AMS successfully onboarded 307 candidates for 347 roles. The initiative achieved 100% female representation in the target function, reduced the time-to-select from 14 to 9 days, and built such significant trust that the client requested AMS's support for additional roles in other business functions.
