Toll Group, a global logistics and freight forwarding company, faced significant challenges with its inconsistent, country-based talent acquisition model. A lack of dedicated technology led to high administrative burdens, a poor candidate experience, and an inability to support business growth. To address this, Toll Group partnered with vendor AMS to implement a new applicant tracking system (ATS) and establish a dedicated recruiting function.

AMS implemented the new ATS and deployed local recruiters in key countries to ensure adoption of a consistent global hiring process. The solution included consultancy projects on employer branding and candidate assessment, and AMS developed targeted attraction strategies, including leveraging social media and a WeChat platform in China. The partnership has hired over 1,700 candidates and achieved a 95% reduction in agency usage, resulting in significant cost savings and increased productivity for Toll Group.
