Orange Polska Collaborates with Amdocs on ECOMP Platform

Orange Polska, a convergent telecom operator in Poland, was facing growing demand for network capacity and the need to modernize its infrastructure for cloud computing, NFV, and future 5G services. Together with Amdocs, it began the industry’s first trial of the ECOMP software platform to evaluate how it could support virtual services and next-generation network transformation.

Amdocs acted as the technology integrator, helping Orange Polska test ECOMP for virtual CPE services and move key functions into a cloud environment. The project was designed to validate ECOMP’s benefits for scalability, automation, and faster service rollout, while helping Orange reduce operational costs and shorten the time needed to introduce new NFV technologies and services.
