A Amdocs Case Study
Bell Canada, Canada’s largest communications company, was looking to accelerate its Network 3.0 transformation by introducing new services faster, improving network agility, and lowering the cost of operating its data centers. To do this, Bell worked with Amdocs and the Linux Foundation’s ONAP platform to bring open-source network automation into production and support its shift toward NFV, SDN, and DevOps.
Amdocs helped Bell implement its first production network automation use case on ONAP, including automating data center tenant network provisioning and enabling lifecycle management, incident management, and service assurance. The solution helped simplify deployments, reduce footprint, and support continuous delivery, allowing Bell to move services to market faster while helping build the foundation for a more elastic, programmable network.
