Allegis Group, a global leader in talent solutions with $12.3B in revenue and 500+ locations, tasked its EMEA team (16 offices) with a World Cup–style competition to boost productivity and attainment. Organizers faced major hurdles: varied time zones and workweeks (e.g., Dubai’s Friday/Saturday weekend) and highly different role-specific metrics, making a fair, region-wide contest technically and operationally complex.
Working with Ambition, Allegis EMEA implemented a “100-point work week” that awarded role-tailored activities as points and ran a 13-week World Cup tournament across all offices. Ambition’s Salesforce integration and real-time dashboards standardized performance comparisons, enabled rapid course-correction, and drove adoption of Salesforce Lightning. The initiative produced a 20% increase in closed contract deals and a 12% increase in closed permanent deals, and led to ongoing micro-competitions to sustain momentum.
