Accelerate Time to Business Value Using Amazon SageMaker at Scale with NatWest Group

NatWest Group, one of the UK’s largest banks, wanted to use its long history of customer data to better personalize personal, business, corporate banking, and insurance services for its 20 million customers. To do this, NatWest Group worked with Amazon Web Services and Amazon SageMaker to improve data analytics and machine learning-driven customer engagement.

With Amazon Web Services, NatWest Group deployed nearly 100 machine learning models using Amazon SageMaker, with plans to scale to thousands more over the next two years. The personalized messaging program helped save customers in lower-income neighborhoods nearly half a million pounds in ATM fees within six months, while also reducing fraud and improving customer wellbeing.
