Leading US hospital collaborates with Aspect to bring life-saving early innovations to market with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, a leading nonprofit pediatric hospital, tasked its Center for Technology Commercialization with moving early medical innovations to market but struggled to track leads, conversations and targeted outreach as it scaled. The office needed a CRM-based specialist marketing model and clear activity workflows to identify the right industry partners and accelerate licensing transactions.

Aspect implemented an Intellectual Property Commercialization Framework using Microsoft Dynamics CRM to automate matching technologies to potential partners and to track campaigns, activities and communications. Since deployment the CTC has captured roughly 800 leads, 400 opportunities and eight exclusive licenses, maintains data on 2,500 contacts across 1,500 accounts, launched five campaigns in six months, and achieved better partner relationships, lower costs and faster paths to market for new health innovations.
