Battery Giant Brings New Energy to Web Sites for Increased Customer Engagement

Energizer, a global consumer‑packaged‑goods company, needed its main site and several microsites to reflect a new visual identity and deliver more interactive, media‑rich experiences. The company also wanted to simplify content management for frequent updates and improve search and navigation so consumers could find product information, coupons, and promotional content more quickly.

Working with Microsoft partner Aspect, Energizer upgraded four sites to Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, adding metadata, keywords, tag clouds, improved navigation and support for rich media and social links. The migration was quick and familiar to content managers, and Energizer expects faster content updates, better search and user engagement, and a stronger online presence that supports the rebrand.
