AAA National, the support arm of the American Automobile Association (AAA), helps independent motor clubs serve 54 million members across the U.S. and Canada. Clubs vary widely in size and data capability, and AAA needed to combine membership, product-purchase and third‑party demographic data to inform marketing, member acquisition, branch-location planning and emergency roadside-service response — a process that took up to three days, used multiple tools, and was error-prone.
By adopting Alteryx Analytics, AAA consolidated data blending, spatial/drive‑time mapping and integrated Experian/census enrichment into a single workflow. The change cut dataset preparation from three days to two minutes, removed multiple tools and manual handoffs, enabled deeper member insights and better location and staffing decisions, improved emergency response times, and allowed roll-out of self‑service apps for clubs.
