AARP worked with Alpha to tackle the challenge of identifying promising new digital product opportunities for its 38 million members, especially as it looked to reach the next generation of senior citizens. With no existing product specs or team in place, AARP needed a way to uncover real customer needs and validate concepts before building.

Alpha supported AARP through discovery research, customer interviews, ideation sessions, and concept refinement with women in their 50s and 60s. This research-led approach helped AARP turn an empty starting point into a successful beta launch of Confetti, a new startup product, and Alpha’s work also helped establish a repeatable process for innovation and product discovery.
