Since 2010 Align has partnered with Salesforce to support expansion of Salesforce’s global data centers (over 100 MW of critical power). Salesforce needed to manage rapid growth across sites in the US, Asia and Europe while minimizing carbon footprint and ensuring next‑generation IT and cooling technologies would fit within its clean energy policy.

Align performed an extensive IT discovery and then designed and deployed efficient power and cooling architectures—unlocking stranded power, implementing power balancing and air containment, using cost‑effective cooling techniques, and providing capacity planning, redundancy mapping and local vendor coordination. Align’s work delivered measurable impact for Salesforce: about 11% total OpEx savings across all data centers and PUE reductions of over 20% at some sites, while increasing compute and storage capacity and improving overall clean‑energy performance.
