A AgileOne Case Study
Global Media Company, a multinational media conglomerate in the entertainment industry, relied on a highly decentralized contingent IT workforce managed through numerous staffing and payrolling providers. With little governance over supplier selection, performance measurement, or rate standardization, the company estimated annual contingent labor spend at nearly $100 million but lacked the visibility to confirm it. AgileOne was brought in to help establish tighter control, improve compliance, and support change management across the organization.
AgileOne implemented an MSP-led, vendor-neutral contingent labor program supported by a supplier and hiring manager roadshow to build trust, explain processes, and drive adoption. The team set markup and pay rate standards, created service level agreements and policies, and ran an RFP to select top-performing staffing partners. As a result, spend in the category increased 28% in the first year, program adoption rose 31%, and within two years AgileOne centralized all IT staffing suppliers under one program with greater governance and less rogue spend.
