Logistics Events Australia faced the challenge of creating and then removing large volumes of ice for two major winter attractions, a 448m ice rink and a 144m ice slide, in a very tight timeframe to minimize non-revenue generating setup and dismantling periods. Aggreko was engaged to supply the necessary reliable power and technology to rapidly freeze and later melt 41 tonnes of ice.

Aggreko's solution utilized their unique FC200 reverse cycle chillers, which both froze and melted the ice, supported by a generator for the most power-intensive phases. This approach ensured a faster-than-expected turnaround with 100% reliability, saving the customer significant time and money on the flawless bump-in and bump-out operations.
