Wyoming Mining faced the challenge of powering a remote Bitcoin mining operation in Pennsylvania with an uninterrupted 24/7 power supply. The site had significant space constraints and used well-head gas as a fuel source, which was difficult to access during harsh winters. They needed a highly reliable, nearly 100% uptime solution for their 3.5 MW data centers and turned to Aggreko for a power generation solution.

Aggreko designed and installed a turnkey solution featuring nineteen 200 kW gas generators with N+1 redundancy, fuel separators, and a custom natural gas manifold to ensure maximum uptime. The solution included 24/7 remote monitoring from Aggreko's operations center, which provided early warnings for potential issues. This allowed Wyoming Mining to operate without interruption for scheduled maintenance, repurpose field gas efficiently, and maximize their Bitcoin mining profits.
