A luxury car manufacturer in South Africa needed a temporary cooling solution to support the expansion of its paintshop and enable increased production during the hot summer months. The challenge was complex due to an automatically controlled bypass in the customer's own equipment that created flow issues. Aggreko was engaged to provide a precise temperature control rental service to overcome this.

Aggreko designed and implemented a bespoke chiller configuration, importing equipment to supply 3.2 MW of cooling. To ensure success, an Aggreko engineer was on site for 12 hours a day to manage the complex system. This solution allowed the manufacturer to ramp up production to its new maximum capacity with no cooling issues, fully utilizing its expanded facility.
