Splash Wines, a family-owned wine business in the United States, faced the challenge of keeping post-purchase communication accurate and efficient in a heavily regulated alcohol-delivery market. Because someone of legal drinking age must be home to sign for deliveries, Splash Wines needed a better way to reduce customer confusion, WISMO inquiries, and shipment issues. AfterShip helped implement a branded tracking experience with proactive shipment notifications, and the rollout was completed smoothly just before peak season. The results were strong: email open rates reached 79.5% and click-through rates hit 57.7%, WISMO tickets dropped, returns fell by 15% during peak season, and referral program registrations doubled.
