Adobe helps The Co-operative Bank grow customer engagement 700% with in-app messaging

The Co-Operative Bank, the UK’s first ethical bank, needed a better way to communicate with customers as banking shifted from branches to mobile and online. To improve engagement in its mobile app, it turned to Adobe and Adobe mobile services, including Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics, to deliver targeted in-app messaging.

Adobe helped The Co-Operative Bank launch timely messages for service updates and financial guidance, supported by Adobe Consulting Services. The results were strong: more than 100,000 customers saw the first outage notification in two days with no negative feedback, and an Online Saver campaign drove nearly 30,000 clicks, an almost 500% increase in in-app applications, and close to 700% growth across all digital touchpoints.
