Sony Interactive Entertainment faced the challenge of keeping the PlayStation official site fresh, fast and consistent across desktops, PlayStation devices and mobile while reducing dependence on outside developers. To bring content updates and personalization in-house, SIE implemented Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions—notably Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics—alongside Adobe Target.
Using Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target, SIE accelerated in-house site production (about 800% faster), ran optimizations five times more quickly, and shortened update lead times (homepage sections from ~40 days to ~5 days). The Adobe Target-powered personalization lifted clicks to the PlayStation Store by more than 15%, visits rose 14%, bounce rate improved from 40% to 35%, blog comments increased 37%, sign-ins grew over eightfold, and Net Promoter Score improved by 9 points.
