A Adobe Target Case Study

Oxygen rebrands channel with Adobe Premiere Pro CC

Oxygen, the NBCUniversal-owned television network, rebranded as a true-crime channel and faced the challenge of generating high volumes of branded on-air promo graphics while keeping design consistent and quality controlled. To streamline work inside its non-linear editing environment, Oxygen adopted Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise tools—using the Essential Graphics panel in Adobe Premiere Pro and Motion Graphics templates from After Effects—with support from Adobe Target.

Adobe Target helped Oxygen implement Motion Graphics templates so editors could update titles, tags, and graphics directly in Premiere Pro, eliminating the need to return to After Effects for simple revisions. The new workflow cut the time to tag 26 versions of a promo from about two hours to 30 minutes, moved all promo production in-house, freed the graphics team to focus on higher-end creative work, improved version control, and supported Oxygen’s growth (fastest‑growing cable entertainment network in primetime in 2018, +19% YoY).
