CORT reaches 95% unique audience with targeted ads

CORT, a national furniture rental company founded in 1972, faced a core marketing challenge: most potential customers—especially students, relocating professionals, and realtors—didn’t know furniture rental was an option. To raise awareness, accurately measure ad effectiveness, and cut costs by moving marketing in‑house, CORT partnered with Adobe Target and leveraged Adobe Advertising Cloud (including Advertising Cloud DSP), Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Sensei to better identify, segment, and reach key audiences.

Using Adobe Target alongside Adobe Advertising Cloud’s DSP and AI‑driven optimization, CORT shifted to targeted omnichannel campaigns — notably direct audio ads on Spotify — and brought execution in‑house for greater visibility and lower agency fees. The campaigns achieved a 95% unique reach on Spotify, delivered an 18% increase in student leases versus the prior four‑year average, and produced measurable cost savings and improved advertising efficiency for CORT.
