Telefónica, a global telecommunications leader serving over 300 million customers, faced a backlog of employee onboarding requests at its UK HR center. With strict security and privacy requirements and no desire to increase headcount, the company needed a faster, compliant way to process contracts and reduce cycle and lead times.

Telefónica implemented Adobe Sign (Adobe Document Cloud) to digitize contracts, enable mobile signing, and automate tracking alongside its ticketing system. As a result, average onboarding cases fell from more than nine days to just over one day and signed contracts arrive in about 11 hours versus three weeks previously—improving compliance, recruiter capacity, and the candidate experience.
