Sunrise marries e-commerce with customer experience

Sunrise Communications, Switzerland’s second-largest telecommunications provider, set out to digitally transform its customer experience and back-office processes—relaunching all online properties, simplifying workflows, and delivering personalized omnichannel experiences. To do this it deployed Adobe Marketing Cloud (including Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target and Adobe Campaign) tightly integrated with SAP Hybris, and used Adobe Analytics for real-time insights to guide the redesign.

Using Adobe Analytics and the Adobe-powered platform, Sunrise created a unified, responsive e-commerce and content hub that halved customer friction and sped operations: mobile share rose from 22.6% to 44.5% (mobile traffic doubled), average load times dropped from 4.2s to 1.5s, website creation became 66% faster, technical page deploys fell from 90 minutes to under 30 seconds, the smartphone purchase flow shrank from 10 to 3 steps, online-store NPS climbed from 31 to 45, and the platform achieved 99.99% availability. Adobe Analytics continues to drive ongoing optimization across channels.
