Germanwings, a low-cost European airline and subsidiary of Lufthansa, needed to automate and streamline its website to boost online sales, offer personalized experiences, support six languages, and integrate booking functionality with reservation systems. After evaluating vendors, Germanwings chose Adobe Experience Manager within Adobe Marketing Cloud and added Adobe Analytics for measurement and insight.

Working with Adobe Consulting, Germanwings implemented Adobe Experience Manager for drag-and-drop, reusable content and a centralized translation workflow, and used Adobe Analytics to track customer behavior and inform personalization. The Adobe Analytics-enabled solution let the small web team update sites faster, serve content in six languages, support five to seven times more visitors, and lift conversion rates by up to 2%.
