KLM, the Netherlands’ flagship airline and a SkyTeam member, faced slow, paper-heavy processes for hundreds of global partner and corporate agreements. The company needed better tracking and accountability, lower courier and printing costs, faster internal approvals, and alignment with its sustainability (CSR) goals.

KLM rolled out Adobe Document Cloud with Adobe Sign to digitize workflows and track contract status end-to-end. The change cut turnaround from weeks to about 28 hours, achieved a 63% completion rate (with 98% of Dutch sales contracts signed electronically), eliminated printing of roughly 1 million pages (saving 120 trees and ~10 million liters of water), reduced courier expenses, and improved partner experience and internal visibility.
