The customer, TenneT, a leading European transmission network operator, faced the challenge of expanding its existing SAP PM system to manage its new offshore wind farms and migrate legacy data. They partnered with vendor Adesso to develop an IT concept that would meet these specific requirements for planning and management.

Adesso implemented an SAP-integrated solution that expanded messages, lists, and reports while adapting the SAP BI interface. As a result, TenneT now has a unified system for managing both its onshore and offshore facilities. The solution allows the two facility types to be maintained and developed independently, fully meeting the operator's planning and management requirements.
