The company generated plenty of leads but lacked role-based targeting and visibility into lead quality, so early-stage prospects consumed sales time without a clear path to qualification.
By deploying Act-On marketing automation for segmentation, lead scoring, nurturing, and real-time campaign metrics, Zyme sent roughly 50,000 customized emails in the first three months of 2014 and automated follow-up for lower-tier leads. The result: email open rates tripled, bounce rates fell about 40%, nurtured-lead close rates more than doubled (from 2–3% to 6%), and the sales team could concentrate on the top 5% of prospects.
