The Sherman Sheet is a St. Louis–based financial services firm that provides subscription access to market research, financial models and custom portfolio reports for advisors and brokers across the US and Canada. As the company grew from about 50 to more than 1,500 clients, its marketing team needed a scalable, automated way to keep prospects and paying clients informed about the many tools, reports and tutorials they offer.
To solve this, The Sherman Sheet deployed Act! Marketing Automation with support from Project Technology Consulting, building more than 75 custom fields and running up to 12 segmented campaigns (including a 13‑email trial sequence and automated follow‑ups). The platform enabled personalized, trackable communications and CRM-style pipeline management, saving time on manual tasks, improving client engagement, and helping convert trial users to paid subscribers while freeing the team to focus on core research services.
