Simplifying the payments process for staff and offering more flexibility for students

A.T. Still University (ATSU), an osteopathic medical school with nearly 4,000 students across three campuses, faced slow, manual processes to accept, post, and reconcile tuition and fee payments, which generated delays and many student inquiries. To modernize payments and offer more flexible installment options, ATSU engaged ACI Worldwide to deploy ACI Speedpay® and add ACI® Payment Plan™ capabilities.

ACI Worldwide implemented the ACI Speedpay® online student portal integrated with ATSU’s Anthology student information system and configured installment payment plans. The solution automated posting and reconciliation, saving a full day of manual processing each month, delivering immediate posting and real-time account visibility for students (reducing calls), enabling account user access for parents, and expanding enrollment flexibility so ATSU could add programs without growing headcount.
