Global Bank, headquartered in the U.S., faced a fragmented set of more than a dozen siloed financial messaging systems, limited technical knowledge concentrated in a few individuals, complex disaster recovery risk, and a pressing need to cut costs. To address these challenges, Global Bank engaged ACI Worldwide and deployed ACI’s Money Transfer System as a centralized clearing and liquidity gateway.

ACI Worldwide consolidated the bank’s messaging into a single Money Transfer System hub, simplifying disaster recovery and reducing operational complexity. The vendor also enabled improved liquidity management by using data within Money Transfer System to feed a web-based dashboard that provides real-time sources and uses of liquidity, trend comparisons and alarms for exceptions. The implementation delivered faster feasibility studies, reduced time-to-market, lower operational costs and an estimated cost reduction of about 98 percent.
