The Palmetto Bank, a community bank with 25 locations in upstate South Carolina, faced an aging VRU that didn’t integrate with its online services, inconsistent account information across channels, growing customer demand for mobile banking, and a stretched IT team maintaining an expensive internal data center. To address this, the bank partnered with ACI Worldwide to modernize its self‑service platform, including a state‑of‑the‑art mobile banking application and a fully integrated online, mobile and voice banking interface hosted in ACI’s data center.
