Bank of Blue Valley, a locally owned community bank in Kansas City serving retail and commercial clients, faced growing demand from small-to-medium business customers for more sophisticated, user-friendly commercial banking tools. To remain competitive and deliver expanded online and cash-management services, the bank turned to ACI Worldwide and upgraded to ACI Self‑Service Banking and ACI Business Banking solutions to enhance its BlueWave internet banking offering.
ACI Worldwide implemented an integrated, cross‑channel solution—including ACI Online Banking, ACI Mobile Banking and Mobile Channel Manager, SSO and enhanced ACH/wire and administrative functions—that put more control in customers’ hands and streamlined staff operations. The deployment reduced call‑center volume by enabling user self‑service (password resets and user management), cut statement printing costs via eStatements, and drove mobile adoption (about 100 signups in the first week and 181 customers transacting within the first month), while expanding commercial capabilities for complex business users.
