Case Study: New Relic achieves inclusive, global employee recognition with Achievers

A Achievers Case Study

Preview of the New Relic Case Study

New Relic launches a recognition program to connect and celebrate employees globally

New Relic, a San Francisco–based observability company, launched Relicnition—its Achievers recognition program—to more than 2,300 employees across 19 countries to ensure recognition was accessible, visible across locations, and able to connect and support high performers in a largely remote, global workforce. The company needed a way to surface work happening across teams and regions, reinforce its five core values, and offer a simple, fun way for employees to celebrate one another.

By adopting Achievers, New Relic created a democratic, global recognition platform that lets employees boost recognitions and milestones, ties awards to core values, and gives managers visibility into who and what is being celebrated. Features like campaign badges (e.g., a “grow your career” badge for Career Week), monthly reporting, and life‑event reminders made recognition habitual and low‑effort, increasing belonging, cultural alignment, and leadership insight into cross‑team contributions.
