How Wesley uses Achievers to improve retention and engagement

Wesley, a mission-driven nonprofit serving older adults in the Puget Sound region, was facing staffing challenges and needed a way to strengthen culture, engagement, and retention across its nursing departments. To address this, Wesley partnered with Achievers and launched a company-wide recognition and rewards initiative called Inspire using the Achievers platform.

Achievers helped Wesley implement a mobile-friendly, always-on recognition program with peer-to-peer recognition, e-cards, awards nominations, rewards points, and pulse surveys. The results were significant: belonging increased from 57.4 to 72.2, and turnover dropped from 67.5% before launch to 34.5% by the end of the platform’s first year, while retention improved across the organization.
