How Sobeys improved operations with feedback surveys and rewards

Sobeys, one of Canada’s largest grocery retailers, faced a supply chain challenge in its retail support centers: improving cube truck loading to keep products fresh, reduce transportation costs, and boost operational efficiency. To support employee engagement and continuous improvement, Sobeys used Achievers and its internal program, Bring It!, along with feedback and reward tools.

Achievers helped Sobeys launch a cube utilization quiz and survey-based feedback initiative, paired with points-based rewards for employees who met targets or scored well. The program increased median cube truck utilization from 77.3% to 86.2%, delivering measurable operational gains and better cross-facility alignment.
