Deloitte, a global professional services firm, needed to strengthen a customer-centric workforce but struggled with a project-based, geographically dispersed culture that produced ad hoc, siloed recognition and inconsistent rewards not tied to business objectives. This made it hard to sustain employee engagement, alignment, and performance—critical drivers of client satisfaction and business growth.

Partnering with Achievers, Deloitte launched a unified Employee Success Platform to use recognition to reinforce desired behaviors and to track its business impact. The program achieved 94% employee participation and showed a clear correlation between recognition and performance: top-rated performers received 2.2× more recognitions and were also the highest earners and givers, demonstrating measurable links between recognition, engagement, and business results.
