CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System, part of the national CHRISTUS Health network, serves Texarkana with 1,799 associates—95% of whom work offline—and needed a recognition solution that supported real-time rewards, on- and offline access, and social recognition to boost engagement and align employees with organizational goals.

Partnering with Achievers to launch the KABOOM program on the Achievers Engagement Platform, CHRISTUS implemented social and points-based recognition, a modern years-of-service program, and other engagement initiatives. The results: turnover fell from 13.8% to 6.4% (well below the 19.6% industry average), recognitions given increased 4,500%, leadership-driven engagement rose from 66% to 77%, and the program was adopted by 12 additional U.S. CHRISTUS regions.
