Bayhealth Boosts Engagement with Achievers Employee Success Platform

Bayhealth, central and southern Delaware’s largest not-for-profit healthcare system with 4,000 employees, needed to modernize recognition to better engage staff and reinforce their values. Their previous, manager-led paper-based approach lacked transparency, peer-to-peer visibility, real-time recognition and analytics—capabilities Bayhealth identified as essential to unite a dispersed, mostly mobile workforce and give leaders actionable insight into employee performance.

Bayhealth implemented Achievers’ Employee Success Platform, launching the “Driven” recognition program and later adding Achievers Listen for pulse and check-in surveys. The tech-forward, peer-to-peer platform, live newsfeed, leader dashboards and integrated listening tools enabled in-the-moment recognition, data-driven insights and timely action (e.g., targeted training based on feedback). Results include 98% account activation, 84% monthly active usage, 97% leader participation, an average of ~4 recognitions received and ~3 sent per employee monthly, and a measurable lift in recognition satisfaction (up .11 to 3.79), moving Bayhealth’s engagement from the 16th to the 34th percentile in healthcare.
