Wabash Valley Goodwill - Customer Case Study

Wabash Valley Goodwill, a longtime nonprofit employer and trainer of people with disabilities, needed a reliable retail system to manage multiple thrift stores, streamline transactions, and integrate sales and loyalty data with accounting. They partnered with AccuPOS and deployed the AccuPOS Point of Sale solution, including its Gift Card program and Integrated Merchant Services (Mercury Payment Systems), tied into Intuit’s QuickBooks Enterprise.

AccuPOS rolled out its POS across seven Wabash Valley Goodwill outlets (in use since July 2003), enabling barcode or touchscreen item entry, running the “Frequent Shopper” loyalty program, and automatically sending sales data to QuickBooks. The result: faster associate training, improved store management and operational visibility, and a consolidated payments and loyalty workflow—measured by successful deployment across seven stores and ongoing positive support from AccuPOS.
