Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa, an award-winning five-star resort near San Diego, needed a better way to manage beverage inventory and support its high-end food and beverage operations. The resort turned to AccuBar to handle liquor, wine, and beer tracking across its five outlets, while also helping manage china, glassware, silver, equipment, and linens.
With AccuBar, Rancho Valencia now takes monthly beverage inventories, scans receiving and transfers, and integrates with its Micros POS to maintain perpetual inventory and accurate cost-of-goods-sold reporting. The result has been tight beverage cost control and a much more efficient process, reducing inventory work to about 15–18 labor hours; AccuBar also made it easy to rebuild and expand a 700-item wine list from a 7,000–8,000 bottle cellar.
