Nao at the Culinary Institute - Customer Case Study

Nao at the Culinary Institute, a Latin fusion restaurant on the Culinary Institute of America campus in San Antonio, needed a better way to educate student servers and guests about its extensive beverage program. Using AccuBar’s iWineLists digital menu, the restaurant also wanted to overcome the challenge of training new student staff every 12 weeks while managing a 182-wine list and other beverages.

AccuBar implemented iWineLists on iPads and helped expand the menu beyond wine to include beer, signature cocktails, spirits, cordials, and non-alcoholic items. The solution was widely accepted by students and most guests, improved beverage education, and contributed to slow growth in wine sales; about 80-90% of guests responded positively to the interactive menu, and the restaurant also gained a paper-menu option without duplicate entry work.
