The Wellington Hotel, a 3‑star, family‑run property in Boscastle with 14 bedrooms, 3 aparthotel suites, a pub and restaurant, wanted to replace aging on‑premise servers and a Windows‑based PMS (plus unsupported Windows XP tills) with a cloud solution. They engaged Access Hospitality to move to a cloud PMS (Rezlynx) and modernise their point‑of‑sale and distribution systems.
Access Hospitality delivered a full turnkey install—Rezlynx PMS with Channel Manager, PCI Manager, Online Booking Manager and EPoS—completed in a two‑week migration with staff training. The new system simplified bookings and check‑in, allowed rate changes to push across all channels in minutes, increased OTA bookings over telephone reservations, improved repeat and group bookings through templates and guest histories, produced richer revenue reporting, and delivered reliable EPoS operation (no balance failures in 12 months) while enabling PCI‑compliant card handling.
