A Access Hospitality Case Study
St Pancras Group is a collection of seven unique destinations in King’s Cross, London, including three hotels and event spaces. As the group expanded — most recently opening The Gyle — they faced the high cost and complexity of moving from on‑premise Opera servers to a single cloud solution (previous quotes were ~£40k for one property and ~£150k to upgrade the group), plus expensive per‑API integration fees. They needed a centralised, cloud‑hosted system that was easy to use, quick to train on, and able to integrate third‑party apps while delivering clear ROI.
Access Hospitality implemented a cloud‑based, fully integrated hotel platform — covering PMS, Channel Management, EPoS, an online booking engine and Conference & Banqueting — to centralise operations across the portfolio. The new system simplified migrations, enabled central rate and availability control, made third‑party integrations straightforward, increased direct bookings via the website booking bar, and freed staff to spend more “heads up” time with guests; Access Hospitality’s solution also allowed EPoS to post bar spend to rooms and provided central reporting for better decision‑making, delivering measurable operational efficiencies and improved revenue capture.
